These events aren’t just for networking opportunities though. With the continued growth of the iGaming industry, these Conferences are now a dime a dozen with most held on an annual basis. ICE Totally Gaming
Location: London, United Kingdom
Organized by Clarion Events Limited, ICE Totally Gaming is arguably one of the largest iGaming Conferences in the world. Held annually at London’s ExCel Centre every February, this event serves provides operators and affiliates with a glimpse of what the industry has to offer for the rest of the year. Lasting three days, the event features the launch of hundreds of the newest products and services for the iGaming industry. Additionally, it has ICE VOX, a series of conferences that feature gaming visionaries offering solutions to crucial challenges that attendees might come across. It’s not just operators and affiliates that attend ICE. The event also plays host to regulators as well as casino gaming software developers/publishers.
London Affiliate Conference
Location: London, United Kingdom
Held at the same time as ICE Totally Gaming, the London Affiliate Conference is another annual iGaming Conference that is worth looking into. Also held at the London ExCel Centre, the event offers conference content that is tailor-made for affiliates. Examples of these content include (but aren’t limited to) speaking engagements featuring industry veterans and networking opportunities for attendees. Perhaps the most compelling reason for joining the event though, is the fact that admission is free for all affiliates and introducing brokers. The event is organized by iGaming Business Limited which interestingly, is also a part of Clarion Events Limited.
Location: Sofia, Bulgaria
Out of the iGaming Conferences in this list, AffiliateCon could be considered as the most ‘casual’. Organized by Gambling Insider and held in Sofia, Bulgaria, the event’s goal was to “mix serious business with serious fun”. Judging by the photo documentation found on the event’s official website, it would seem that the organizers achieved just that. The event took place last May 15 to 16 and was initially held at the Sofia Event Center. For the first day of the event, attendees were treated to talks and networking opportunities for both operators and affiliates. Following this, affiliates then got relax and have fun through Trafficology magazine’s Mixology. This special networking party was held at the Carrusel Club (one of the hippest clubs in the Bulgarian captial) and featured performances by Eurovision singing sensation Zhana Bergendorff.
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Another iGaming Conference organized by iGaming Business Limited, iGB Live is an iGaming Conference that came about as a result of the merging of the iGaming Super Show, Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, and EiG. Projected as one of the largest events in the region, this iGaming Conference is set to be held at the Amsterdam RAI in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on the 17th up until the 20th of July, 2018. The event promises to provide attendees and industry stakeholders with opportunities for networking as well as education and business development. Similar to LAC, admission to iGB Live is free for everyone who wishes to attend.
Location: Budapest, Hungary
As its name implies, the Central and Eastern European Gaming Conference is an iGaming seminar for affiliates and operators targeting the CEE and Balkanic markets. In terms of attendance, this iGaming Conference is relatively smaller than the others on the list. With that said, it still offers a compelling agenda for its attendees. This year’s event is scheduled for September 25, 2018 at the Ritz-Carlton Budapest and is centered on the topic of “machine intelligence and how regulators must keep up” with this technology. The one-day event features numerous panel discussions by C-level executives and speakers such as Miglena Dimitrova (MDMI Legal) and Alexandra Henderson (Anti-Money Laundering Global Solutions Ltd).
SiGMA (Summit of iGaming Malta)
The Summit of iGaming Malta is arguably one of the largest iGamin Conferences outside of the UK. Held in Malta, this event is usually scheduled near the end of the year (November) and routinely features more or less 12500 attendees (2000 affiliates) from over 80 countries. The event has been around since 2013 and has consistently delivered when it comes to providing attendees with networking and business development opportunities. One of the highlights of the event has been its SiGMA Pitch for start ups. As its name implies, SiGMA Pitch serves as a forum for start ups to pitch their ideas to investors such as the Klein Group, Consult XD, Gaming Realms, and many more. Other than this, the event has conferences that let attendees upgrade their knowledge on topics that include (but aren’t limited to) regulation, payments, and even blockchain.
It should also be noted that SiGMA’s organizers also have an affiliate-focused iGaming Conference called Affiliate Grand Slam. Unlike SiGMA, the venue for this annual event usually differs from year to year. For this year, the event will be held at the Intercontinental Kiev in the Ukraine from the 9th to the 10th of August. In terms of attendees, the organizers have limited the event to only 200 quality affiliates and 6 operators.
Getting the most of these iGaming Conferences
With the way the industry is changing, affiliates and operators should consider attending more iGaming Conferences like the ones on this list. Not only will they get to network with top brands, affiliates and operators will also get to know more about the latest technological trends that could potentially impact their businesses or campaigns. And considering how some of these events offer free admission (at least for affiliates), there’s really no reason for anybody to not join any of them. In case they happen to be interested in joining, affiliates and operators can try visiting the official websites for these events. As of this writing, they could still join iGB Live, CEEGC, SiGMA, and AGS. In case they miss out on these though, affiliates and operators need not worry since these iGaming Conferences are held annually.
